Limited Edition - Hanriot HD.1 "in Italian Service" - EDU1102
This airplane was used extensively by the Italians in WWI where a number of Italian
pilots earned ace status using this aircraft. Most Italian pilots liked its
performance, particularly the aircrafts rate of climb over the SPAD VII.
831 Hanriots were manufactured in Italy by Nieuport-Macchi. The Belgians
also came to appreciate this aicraft and when given the opportunity
to use Sopwith Camels as replacements for their Hanriots, Belgian pilots passed
up the Camels in favor of their HD.1s.
Comes with Photo Etched cokpit details and resin parts. Decals for four Italian aircraft.
