Classic Airframes 1/48 Fiat CR32
Here is my recently completed Classic Airframes Fiat CR32. This kit was from the first issue and is the most difficult kit I have put together due to lack of assembly pins. The wing struts were way off on the length so I 3D printed new ones along with better wheels. I'm glad to have this one done. h...

Re: My Tangerine Dream
Great looking model.
My Dad was a student pilot at Bartow AFB in the late 1950's, taking training in T-37 and T-33 jets. He went on to become a B-52 pilot in SAC.
Years later, we moved to Lakeland, where I grew up.

Re: S.M. 79-II
It's great to see progress with this, Richard. I'm looking forward to seeing some paint.
Interesting information about the ailerons being used with the flaps and leading edge slats to change the camber of the wing for more lift. That's how I used to set up my RC sailplanes.

Re: Italeri 1/48 Fiat CR.42
Just finished this Hungarian Fiat CR-42 from April 1941. This one took a lot of painting, having to paint the entire Italian camo and Hungarian insignias, then over paint the yellow areas. I used the Montex painting masks and a variety of paints, mainly AK Interactive lacquers for the main colors an...

Re: Macchi C.202 1/48 Hasegawa
Thanks Mark. I used Testors and Model Masters enamels for the exterior colors, custom mix of brown, yellow, and white for the tan base color. The smoke rings are out-of-the-bottle olive green, but are a little too light in color. The gray was straight out of the bottle, too. The interior green is Ta...

Nice job on this, Paolo. The additional detail really adds to the display.

That's a lot of detail in there. Even if your colors are not exactly correct, who would know? (Besides you and us)

Quite an extensive modification! Opening the panels leads to a lot of work. At least you have good reference material.

Italeri 1/48 Fiat CR.42
Today I start posting my progress on my second Italian subject, the Fiat CR.42. I will be adding detail to this, as I really like the looks of this plane. It will be a Hungarian version. I have the Montex painting mask set (K48351), so this will be interesting. I started off with the cockpit, adding...

Thank you for the nice comments, you are all very generous.
Next on the bench is the Italeri Fiat CR.42 - with upgrades, of course.
