Re: Looking for Caproni Ca.310 cammo schemes

Are there any photos of the desert-camouflaged RA Ca 310? Having quite a lot of literature/reference, failed to find a single picture showing a complete RA Ca 310 with markings being visible...

Being going to do the touch ups, could not find any trace of grey base visible in the holes on the model - seems to be some strange light conditions on the photo...

A very good point about the openings! Sure it wouldn't hurt to darken them. Even if it is what actually can be only noticed on such a zoomed photo. I believe, I do a touch-up. As for yor project, Peter, I have to say, I am also impressed! And I am sure, you'll have more fun with the Sword kit than I...

UPDATE: When Enough is Not Enough ;-)

One Year Later... Looking at the completed model from time to time, I just could not get rid of some bad feeling that there is something not OK with its shape or proportions. Finally I was believing to figure it out, what I was feeling somewhat uncomfortabe about: - the canopy positioned a bit more ...

One more question on Macchi cockpit color. So, now we know that later in the war Macchi didn't apply the additional coat of GAC just leaving the cockpits in VA instead. However, what about the time around the adopting of the Tavola 10 - are there any documents, photos or relics suggesting whether th...

Re 2000 (export): interior & underside colo(u)rs

What is actually the newest consense about the interior color of the Re 2000: greyish version of Verde Anticorrosione (if so, could RAF Interior Green be a good match?) or still some sort of grey (which exactly?) as it seems to be the case on the color photos of the Swedish a/c displayed in museum? ...

One more vote for the new 1/72 C202/205! Both Hasegawa and Italeri have this issue with the wrong wing root cross sections, but their main fault are asymmetrical fuselages. In addition, their nose sections and fairings behind the cockpit aren't very accurate too. My only hope that I don't have to re...

Thank you Gabriele! Although somewhat crude, looks not bad and probably still better than Frog. Unfortunately, that kit I mentioned in my first post is not available any more, however, just in case it appears one more time: how is this fuselage in terms of outline accuracy compared with, for example...
