1) I agree its C10B. There are no known cases of C8 applied to SM planes. C8 was a Macchi camouflage scheme.
2) I don't have information for the installation details of the L3 carried aboard the SM.82.
Thanks for your comments.

Re: Aeromacchi C.200 Saeta Serie I, 1/48 Special Hobby
Welcome to Stormo and thank you for sharing your work. Beautiful job on the camo and a great subject of Italian Ace Baschirotto and his C.200 Serie I, its my favorite variant of this plane and a great kit. Please do send in a short article and I would be happy to add it the Stormo Gallery. Thanks ag...

Re: Re 2001 Falco II
Being a “short run” kit, it lacks things like locator pins, so precise alignment of the fuselage and wings requires careful attention and patience. With short-run kits to get good alignment between the fuselage halves (and other parts that require two parts to be cemented together) is use thin piec...

Yes the C.202 used an Italian made camera.
Here's the location of the camera on the C.202 as seen in STRM 48007:

Re: Macchi C.200/202/205 Recon versions
I didn't read the post in Brit Modeler but here's a drawing of the camera location and details from Maurizio's Squadron-Signal C.205V Walk Around: https://www.stormomagazine.com/Forum/C205V_Recce1a.jpg Stefano and I also did a C.202 recce/photo recon of Frigerio's plane MM.7712 in STRM 48007. The pl...

Re: Verde Oliva Scuro 2
That looks like a print error, it should be VOS2. FS.34052 is considered the closest match.

Re: Re 2001 Falco II
Great job Richard and a great subject! I look forward to following the build. If you follow kit instructions you never know how a cockpit will end up until its finally into place and sometimes its not precisely located as you point out - often its too deep.

Re: Regia Aeronautica seat harness
The photo you attached is better than the one I posted. Honestly I'm not sure how the seat harness worked, if you find more information lets us know because this question has come up in the past.

Re: RE 2000 camoflauge profile accuracy
There were no directives/directive for unit markings. The style, shape and colors were left to the units. I do think the individual aircraft number '4' is blue in the photo above although there is a slight tonal difference between the unit badge background and the individual aircraft number as well ...

Re: Regia Aeronautica seat harness
One of those topics or details that rarely get talked about. Here are some photos from Aero Detail #15 of part of the seat harness and how to it was arranged or what you can gather from it. The photos come from the C.205V at AerMacchi S.p.A at Varese. https://www.stormomagazine.com/Forum/SeatHarness...

Re: RE 2000 camoflauge profile accuracy
There were 3 or 4 Re.2000 Serie III of 377a Sq that had been returned from factory in March 1942 for repairs and repainted in VOS2 + NC4 mottles with a total of 10, the others in VOS2. The unit badge background is in my opinion blue. Below is a photo of Fiat CR.42CN 377-4 with unit badge and marking...

Re: Osprey Macchi Units in Combat
I don't have the reference and I don't know the author although likely he's been here before, I just don't recall. D'Amico's last book (Camouflage & Markings of the Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana 1943-45) is reliable. I wish Ferdinando was still around, he was a top-notch researcher and his book...

Servizio Riparazioni Aeromobili e Motori – Aircraft and Engine Repair Service are often quoted in RA documents and were likely subordinate.

ANR C.205V RLM colors: top of forward fuselage and spine RLM 75; RLM 74/75 splinter pattern on upper wings and horizontal stabilizers/elevators; 74/75 mottles on fuselage sides and rudder and 76 undersurfaces and lower sides of the fuselage and rudder.
