Thank You for your swift response! I've been doing some research these days and found little evidence of CR42's with yellow cowlings in NA except for fighter-bombers, which I think it's not Bordoni's case. I'll leave the mottled cowling and paint white the fasci background unless I find evidence oth...

Tte Bordoni Bisleri's Fiat CR42 @ Tobruk, June '41

Hello everybody! I've just began a 1/33 paper model of a 95squadriglia Fiat Falco (numeral 9) belonging to Tte. Bordoni Bisleri which I would like to depict at the time of Tobruk's first siege in late spring '41. http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff440/AgaPablo1/Falco/th_presentacin.jpg Up to now ...

Yes, Aerofile's Breda was a nightmare to build as most of the kit was "punched" on a 2mm plastic sheet which required hours of sawing, filing and sanding until you began to see some decent result....but as it was said in Spain: "if you love scabies, they won't itch". After this kit I tried to conver...

Well....I quited plastic modelling some years ago, unfortunately I'm allergic to glues for plastic. On the other hand I found paper modelling, and never missed plastic again! http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff440/AgaPablo1/Breda%20Ba65/Aerofile.jpg http://i1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff440/AgaPa...

Thank You Riccardo, The Ali d'Italia book on the Ba65 provides the info about wing lenghts (pgs 41 & 42), the k14 had longer wings than the A80 (10cm); the K14 had the right 10cm longer than the left and the A80 the left 10 cm longer than the right. That means that both planes had the same left wing...

O.K. seen the picture of the plane's (k14) belly and the stack of bombs, now everything is clear!

Thank you D520!

Breda 65 flaps

Hello everybody. I'm conducting some research on the different versions of the Breda Ba65 and identifying changes form K14 to A80 version. One of the differences I came to find is a shorter flap on the A80; on this version the flap begins where the wheel niche ends allowing for clear movement, but o...
