Probably colorized, and seems like post-WWII to me.

One conundrum of mine is whether the Macchi fighters had upper wheel well covers as standard?
C.202/205 Manuals seem to show them, but that does not mean they were not removed after repairs...

But that pre-war fin tri-color leads me to speculate that the wing fasces were also of pre-war type (white fasces on black background).
