ciao Emanuele
unfortunately i have no photos about what you have requested the only piece of information i can give you is about the s.81 in the italo-ethiophian conflict
Part of the s.81 belonged to the 9o stormo bombardamento today officially 9o stormo intercettori Francesco Baracca
infact it was possibly the only one operating with this aircrafts brand new at the time the 9 stormo begun the first bombing action 26/12/1935 on enemy positions taking off from near L Asmara This aircrafts distinguished themselfs not only in bombing raids but also in various forms of support to the ground troups necessitating a lot of help in such remote and inhospitable territory without roads or railways or much tranportation facilities Being based in Gura e Macalle the s.81 partecipating in all the battles of the conflict and paied a very high price with the loss of several pilots and crews The s.81 where shipped from Napels in pieces and send by sea to Massaua where they had to be reassemled
Photos of this s.81 are difficult to find but if you want i will dig somore to see if i can a list get a description of theyr appearence
hope it helps a bit
ciao stefano

Emanuele,
The book you want to try to get hold of, regarding the S.M.81, is the heavily illustrated 'Ali Italiane in Africa Orientale, 1935-1940', by Carlo Lucchini, AES Albertelli Edizioni Speciale s.r.l., Parma 1997.
This shows many pictures of the S.M.81's in AOI, all in cachi avorio with variations to the red anti-mimetic upper wing stripes. Also included are shots of RO1's, Ca.101's, Ca.111's, Ca.133's and Ro.37's and Ro.37bis's.
Unfortunately, I can't tell you where you might locate one, perhaps the specialist aviation bookshops in Rome or the U.K., but I hope this might be of some help.
Regards,
Aeroal.

ciao Emanuele
About the sm.81 of the ethiophyan conflict better known as pipistrello was painted in ivorian white with the national tricolor of Italy painted on the rudder and on the wings several red stripes were painted diagonally to make it easily spotted in case of forced landing and it had painted onthe fuselage the numbers in black of the squadriglia which it belonged.
I would like to remind you that althoght the ethiopian did not have a lot of modern weapons several pipistrelli were shot down from light anti-aircrafts weapons and in some cases even rifles found theyr marks in the sm81 also because of the very low altitude this aeroplanes operated
hope it helps
