Fiat G50Bis

Post by steveiow » Wed Nov 28, 2007 1:37 pm

I have got an Airfix version of this kit.The original was released in 1967,mine is a lot later production, about 1987 or so.
Two questions-any comments on the kit itself and what doe's Bis signify?
Thanks
Steve

Hi Steve,
The Airfix 1/72 Fiat G.50 is a little bit of an old kit and somewhat inaccurate around the cowling area. There's also the very good AML kit if you can find one.

The G.50bis was the main production variant and differed from the G.50 in the cockpit, the canopy and the rudder.
