Maybe someone can help me.
Which are the most used techniques to colout the frames of the transparent canopy as in 1/48 or 1/72 scale?
Thanks in advance

Keyword is patience. Simply mask it with masking tape and shoot your paint, inside color first and then outside color. You might also try to mask using well thinned vinyl glue: it works fine for very small windows that you can't easily mask with masking tape. Both masking techniques will work fine if the canopy frames are well defined and raised. If the frames are wrong shaped, or not very raised or defined, you may try to sand them off and replace them with thin strips of painted decals.

Thanks for your quick post.
I'll practice your suggestion and I'll post the pics of my RO.57 canopy asap.
Ciao a tutti

I mask canopies (inside and out) using Tamiya masking tape and begin on the inside. I'll spray the canopy lightly and progressively buildup.
