On Jan. 6, 1942, Beaufighter MkI serial T4887, belonging to no. 252 sq. of Coastal Command, in transfer flight from Gibraltar to Malta, landed by mistake on a Sicilian field. It ended his career in Italian markings.

Like that, good job. It seems people have always liked visiting Italia, even when they are not supposed to! I have several projects for non-italian aircraft in R.A. colours planned, must get around to doing one! I like very much your work with the paint job. It looks very effective, even on a straight out of the box kit.
Dave. :)

Nice Beaufighter. But are you sure that Italian Baufighter had the two tone camouflage on the upper sides? According to the photos presented in "06 - Ali Straniere in Italia Prede di Guerra yugo, RAF, USAAF" and my opinion this Beau was camouflaged on the upper sides only in Extra Dark Sea Grey.

Nice work. I think it's cool to see captured aircraft.
