Macchi 200 90°Sq

Hello Stormo ragazzi!
Here is one of my last built, the poor Italeri kit with my usual modifications which can be find in the Gallery. The 90° Sq, 10°Gruppo, 4° Stormo wore the bulk of the first assault on Malta in 41.and they fought hard against the Hurricanes of the RAF. Plane shown is from the Breda plant with the small tail cross and Bruno Mimetico and Giallo Mimetico 4 blotches on the Verde Mimetico2 background. Best regards from France

Beautiful work, Jean. I'm impressed with the cockpit and wheel wells. I'm interested in learning more about what you did, especially about the markings, as it would fit perfectly in my "Battle of Malta" collection.

Beautiful work! Very fine correction and detailing of this kit, and an excellent rendition of the difficult Breda scheme.

A detail that sticks out is the "Celeste" blue on the prop blades - a touch that is often missed1 :biggrin:
