I really like it. Thanks for sharing it.

I gotta say that's probably one of the best looking G.55s I've ever seen. Article please when you're done.

Ok... what can I do...
by the way - I need some details / evidence regarding heat resistant black paint on guns througs. I know only one and very distant photo of "black 7" - so I decided to use profile descriptions from Stormo decals Fiat G.55 Italian Aces.

Below are two C.202 photos with the black gun troughs, more clearly seen on early built Breda machines that were painted in the (light) Serie Mimetica colors. In regard to the G.55 splinter pattern and the gun troughs, its possible the gun troughs were painted-over (I don't know how well heat resistant paint acted as a primer, likely poorly - oil based) because the pattern was experimental and specifically applied to 1a Sq 2o Gr machines in April 1944. Knowing what I know about the RA and the ANR, ground crews likely masked-off these areas while repainting. Having said that do whatever looks right, this is a detail I can not confirm although Stefano might have more to add here.

That looks really good, you have made it look easy, I found the kit quite challenging so I can apppreciate the work that you have put into the build.
Cheers

Finally it's done. It took some time - due to my business activities I had no time for modelling for six weeks.
