Well - day one?

I went pretty fast with the cockpit. ICM is really modeller-friendly producer. I've used Eduard PE fret for instrument panels and seatbelts.

And so it goes...

At the end of day one - fuselage and wings went together. Front section is a little bit overengineered. I'd made few mistakes (in a hurry...) - so some extra work with super glue and sanding stick was needed. But generally fit is really good.

Oh - by the way - it will be Italian No guns, no bombs - just tiny little bird

It's hard to believe they're both 1/32 scale

The G.55 was a big plane. Look forward to this build.

looks awesome so far! I knew someone who flew it as a young lad in post-WWII years, and praised it for its aerobatic performance.

It's almost sad that this little nice engine will be covered. But I don't build "opened" planes - I like them as they are.

And this will be all for today. At last it starts looking like a plane. Front section gave me really hard time - delicate, fiddly, flexile... End of day two.
