Hi Lubos
If I am allowed, my adivices are: Fiat used light grey as anticorrosion paint, as referenced in the Fiat G50 manual, I have inserted this information on Stormo color reference. Furthermore I think that the wings rear edge should be better more thin.
Very nice instrument board; how did you impement it?

Good point, Riccardo...but I don't think Pavel is going to rip the fuselage open! LOL...maybe next time. Excellent job, so far.

Exactly m.lacivita if I will make some Freccia in the future (I think woun't) I use some light grey. The cocpit will be closed so I woun't try to correct this mistake.
The wings rear edge was made reduce about 30 percent. I know it looks a bit thicker than it should be. Next time it will may be better.

Hi Rick, I have still one question concerning to Fiat interior color. Which color used Fiat in the case of their Fiat G.55? I plan to build two G.55 (one in 1/48 and the second in 1/32) and I don't want to repeate my mistake.

Internal fuselage color

Some witnessings refer for FIAT till from 1943 the use of a yellowish paint and this color is present also in the Vitochart table concerning the paint use in Regia Aeronautica from 1916 to 1943(chips 17 and 23), but this information is generally deemed not sure:
I attach also the table that precises the use of the colors introduced by Tavola 10 at the end of 1941:
concerning the application (applicazione) of Grigio Azzurro Chiaro, also the application for the internal of fuselge is prescribed (.... superfici interne della fusoliera....). So the rule for the internal of the cockpit was the use of Grigio Azzurro Chiaro; I think that if you use this color you are in conformity with the application rule and have good probability to reproduce the actual color

first of all, excellent job frm Lubos (regarding workmanship)..
and Secondly - if I read a/m correctly, also my Fiat Cr.42 should be painted by Grigio Azzuro Chiaro inside the fuselage, shouldn´t be?
Pls confirm.

Cr42 cockpit color

I want to precise that the request I received concerned Fiat G55, aeroplanes produced after the introduction at the end of 1941 of the use of Tavola 10 colors, so the mentioned rules are applicable following that date.
I attach an image of Cr42 used as night fighter, where it is possible to discern a small part of the internal of the cockpit and it seems to be Grigio Azzurro Chiaro.
With reference to the period before the introduction of Tavola 10, we know from the G50 manual that Fiat used a grey anticorrosion primer.
The only known grey primer is the one found an a part of S79 and it is similar to FS 26599; so we can say that probably the primer had this shade, but up to now no certainty exists.
So it depends on the perid of the represented model.
These are all the information I can provide, I hope that in the next future some other information can arise
