Diorama plate

Post by D520 » Sat Feb 13, 2010 6:19 am

Since I enjoy taking realistic pictures of my Italian bombers, I was messing around with the idea of an original base where I could display those birds for outside photography. This is where I am right now, more figures will be added but not manies as it is easy to overcrowd a scene, the tarpaulin will be painted and weathered when the white glue will be dry, the tree is waiting for its leaves to arrive, I will also add some bushes here and there. The sheeps are from Preiser, the wall was erected stone by stone using cats litter with white glue. Let me know what you thing about.... ciao tutti, jean.

Hello Jean,
I too am a diorama fan.
I like the nice touch with the shepherd and the dog.
I am asuming that it is somewhere in Italy? Sicily? or maybe even Greece?
The paint job is superb!!
Vincent.

Absolutely cracking. I can almost feel the heat coming up from the ground. Very nice,
