Post by Dave Bayliss » Thu Aug 19, 2010 12:26 pm

Hi all,
Here are some photos of my recently completed Italeri Savoia Marcchetti 79 in 1937 colours. This is in 172nd scale.
Sorry about the quality of the pics!

Thanks Vince,
I have quite a stack of Italian aircraft kits to make and if I base them all around the same period I would be doing the same colours all the time, so I am trying to vary them. Just finished an AML MC200 so I might post that when I get time.

Dave,
I'm with Vince I like the camouflage scheme too. You don't see a whole lot of the early schemes.

Thanks Gregory, AZ Models have a Fiat CR32 and a CR32bis listed for release, but these have been promised for a while and haven't seen them yet. When they are available I am looking forward to doing an early scheme on those.
Dave.

Great colour scheme. Shame the pics dont do it justice. Any chance of a few better ones?

Hi Luftwoller,
I am trying very hard to get my modeling skills better. I can see that I will have to try with camera skills also! I posted the original pics more to find out how to post pictures on the forum than anything else. I had to get my son to help me out with posting pictures on the internet. I used a Sony Handycam in stills mode for these shots, but I have used my wife's small digital camera for other pics that I posted since. I am looking forward to AZ bringing out their promised CR32 and to doing an early paint scheme on that.
Cheers, Dave.

Ciao amici,
Here are some more images. I don't know if they are better, but I hope they show more of the model.
Cheers, Dave. Image
