Hi Mirek,

Thank you for sharing the images. You really had some nice models on display.

Beautiful, as always! Thank you for your post! Your SIG must be the best I've seen anywhere.

Hello everyone,

Yet again, a beautiful display of Italiana. The two Caproni's, from WWI and WWII were utterly exquisite. Rigging a complex biplane in 1:48 scale is hard enough, but doing it in 1:72 scale would give you cross eyes! Does anyone know what happened to the 1:48 scale Caproni biplane that was on Italeri's lists a couple of years back? It seems to have vanished into the Alpine mists.

Regards,

Aeroal.

Mirek,

Thanks for correcting my mistake. As this model is in 1:144, this makes it even more mind boggling as to how anyone can build and rig like this in such a tiny scale.

Regards,

Aeroal.

What is the book on the table? I noticed the nice profiles but am not familiar with the book. Again....excellent work!

The book on the table shows pages 88-89 of Chris Dunnings 'Regia Aeronautica' book (subheading: The Italian Air Force 1923-1945 - An Operational History). All profiles in the book are by R Caruana.

Looks like it was a great show. A few members from my local hobby club went and said they had a fantastic time. They remembered your stand and told me about it knowing my love for all things Italian,
