E-day 2010 ended. In Italian SIG participated 10 modelers with 28 models.

Hi Mirek,

Thank you for sharing the images. You really had some nice models on display.

When will the next edition of E-day be held? I may want to join you guys in Prague next time.

Hello everyone,

Yet again, a beautiful display of Italiana. The two Caproni's, from WWI and WWII were utterly exquisite. Rigging a complex biplane in 1:48 scale is hard enough, but doing it in 1:72 scale would give you cross eyes! Does anyone know what happened to the 1:48 scale Caproni biplane that was on Italeri's lists a couple of years back? It seems to have vanished into the Alpine mists.

Aeroal Caproni Ca 3 is in 1:144 scale (model from SRAM company by Jarda Sebek)

Thanks for correcting my mistake. As this model is in 1:144, this makes it even more mind boggling as to how anyone can build and rig like this in such a tiny scale.

The book on the table shows pages 88-89 of Chris Dunnings 'Regia Aeronautica' book (subheading: The Italian Air Force 1923-1945 - An Operational History). All profiles in the book are by R Caruana.
