Iraqi Ba 65s

Post by Shane » Mon Nov 02, 2009 10:05 pm

During the Iraqi up rising against the British, I understand that at least one Iraqi Breda Ba 65 was shot down. Does anyone know if they were left in the natural metal/doped colors, or were they camouflaged? I have seen the one picture of a wheels up landing of an Iraqi A/C but the caption said it happened in Italy during the acceptance trials.

Does the book "Hitlers Iraqi War" have any information?

Thanks
Shane

Shane,

I can confirm they were all painted aluminium overall.
