As for the non-blue hue despite the name of GAC1, a question in the first post, we can say that pale blue or grey-blue undersides were used still before Tavola 10. There are colour photos and documents that prove it. The Tavola 10 GAC1 (FS36307) is identical to a RA interior grey. For some reason, it was at some time officially used also for undersides. Some of the best Italian researchers, like Rick, are working on a complete revision of the matter.

Interesting, I was always mixing mine simply following color pictures of restored aircraft and never got HU141.
I mixed large batch of it, perhaps it is time to repaint models?

Thanks for shedding some light on the apparent GAC 'mis-nomer'. It always puzzled me that, despite the words 'light grey blue' being used to describe the paint, the actual colour is anything but. This is backed up by the official Humbrol 141 paint combination mentioned in Stefano's post.

No, of course, your rendering is very good, and you must consider that actually personnel mixed paints, borrowed them by Luftwaffe, sometimes used commercial enamels, without considering sun/weather action, etc. A modeller's goal should be a credible thing. :)
