Hello everybody!
I've just starded to build a Macchi 202 (Hasegawa 1/48). I was planning to made the MM 7711 used by my former unit the 378 squadriglia 155° gruppo....This airplane was used early on by the 96 squadrigla of 4°stormo and then gave to the 378 just for few months...
Does anyone know If there is any decal sheet (1/48 scale) with the numbers 378 (black)-4 (red)???
Thanks for your help
Fredi

Pante,
The decals were available on Tauro Models sheet no. 48/521 to represent 378-1. This sheet also contains the markings of 85-4, the machine of Ten. 'Peppo' Re. The red 4 is the correct size to match the 378 to give you the markings you want, 378-4. You would have to make up your own mm. numbers to suit, available from Tauro Models sheet no. 48/564
I don't know if 48/521 is currently available but you may be still be able to obtain it second hand. Unfortunately I have used the 378,s from my sheet to make 378-11, the machine of SM Falerio Gelli which came to grief on the island of Gozo. The 378's can also be sourced from Aeromaster sheet no. 48/189, but this has no 4's.

Aeroal
