CR42 Nightfighter unit badge

In the Osprey book Italian Aces of WW2 by Massimello and Apostolo,377-4 is shown with a badge with a white moon,brown owl and red triangle.
In the Italeri 1/48 kit reference manual the same 'plane is shown with a yellow moon,green owl and blue triangle!
As I intend to do one of mine as a nightfighter,which badge has the right colour?
Both are given based at Palermo.

377-4 had most likely a yellow moon, brown owl and blue back ground (S. Lazzaro/R. Trotta) and is also the subject of my next set of decals.

Hmmm.....3rd version,look's like I might as well wait until your decals come out Vince,I have'nt come across any other decal sheets with this emblem on.
I seem to recall reading somewhere,that both types were used.
Oh,well....1/48 I hope Vince!

Thought I spotted the blue triangle on Sky decals 1/48 sheet,on their website-will investigate further

On West Coast Scale Models site,Sky decal sheet No.48036 has the blue triangle version.............

There is one more decal markings. Those in the CA Cr 42 CN. I have to agree that a yellow moon on the blue triangle is probably correct.
