Check the color guide on this site. The color you need is Verde Mimetico 2 - use Foliage Green FS.34092.

Ciao Stefano,
Welcome. Its always an honor to have past and present members of the AMI join the forum! Thank you for posting.

Below are seven scans from Ali e Colori #4. The scans include 4o Stormo C.202s. If you want to do a solid colored C.202 using VOS2 you might want to do 1o Stormo instead since we know that unit temporarily flew the plane in the Continental camouflage scheme. Once 1o Stormo planes arrived in NA the planes received large splotches of Nocciola Chiaro. 4o Stormo flew C.202s in NA and Sicily. Early planes carried the Serie Mimetica colors 1938-1941 (three tone) and later flew C.202s wearing VOS and Nocciola Chiaro blotches.

Ciao Stefano,
In my undergrad at the UofT I specialized in Nuclear Chemical Engineering. There's some interest again in Nuclear energy as an alternative energy. I've been in Oil&Gas ever since graduating from the UofT developing engineering software. Companies like Exxon, Shell, BP etc all use our software to design and run their refineries and gas plants. Its been a fun ride :)

hallo
i have noticed that the folgore of the 1o stormo with 80-3 and also 80-8
in overall green standard colour have a rather diminished antenna mast
why is that?
if i want to reproduce the standard same scheme of the cavallino rampante of the hasegawa 1/48 scale kit aircraft 80-6 accordin to the kit intructions would i be correct/
hasgawa kit instructions give this plane a standard antenna mast is it correct?
ciao a tutti!
stefanuccio

Benvenuti Stefano!
Its always a pleasure to have AMI members on this forum.
I have never been to South Africa, but I hear nothing but wonderful things about it.
My doctor is from there and he sure misses his homeland.
Sounds like you like it to.
Take Care,
Vincent.

Short mast was typical for 202s Macchi serie II and early serie III, and some Breda serie I, and was the same of most MC.200s. It was replaced by a long wood mast in an attempt to increase the bad performance of the Allocchio-Bacchini radio.

The 202 nicknamed FILIPPO was 80-8, not 80-6 as a mistaken profile in In Action 1041. The correct profile is above (no.7). Here is the real aircraft (Ali d'Italia no. 2):

Again, never trust... etc.

Ciao
Stefano
