Dear All
Back in the 1990s I bought a resin kit from Hannants in London of the Macchi MC.205 N Orione. Does anyone know who made this model, and does anyone have one they might be prepared to sell?
Thanks
Andrew
Macchi MC.205 Orione
Hi Andrew,
I just purchased one myself from a clearance sale in Spain. The kit you are refering to is made by Czech Model. The kit has a massive, semi transparent resin fuselage with wings and tail attached. The smaller parts are reproduced in a thin resin wafer.
It took me several months to track this one down, so I'm not willing to part with it (at least not yet). I plan to use it as a pattern for a conversion of the Italeri MC 205 Veltro.
Peter

MC.205 N Orione
Hi Peter
Well at least I know now that I'm not going mad!
I knew such a kit existed but couldn't find any reference to it on the web.
Now if I could just find one of those elusive Cunarmodel MC.207 kits as well!
Thanks
Andrew
