WINGS OF ITALY (PART 1)


Aviation documentary of the 1980s, presents the history of Italian aviation. Part I focuses on the Caproni family and the aicraft it designed including many well known seaplanes, fighters and bombers in the period between the early 1900s through to Mussolini's Regia Aeronautica. This part of the documentary examines the contributions of Guilio Douhet and Italo Balbo. Part I also includes the Italian airships (e.g., Norge).
