Stormo decals

Post by Capitano » Tue Jan 20, 2009 9:20 pm

I'd like to put in a plug for a couple things I recently ordered that I think are a must have. I ordered a set of Chris Busbridge Cr.32 decals; they look great! I know the Cr.32 is a narrow field but these decals are simply beautiful. I have all three Classic Airframes Cr.32s and these decals will help augment the kit decals.

The other decals I received are a set of Stormo decals WWII Aces Part 2 . These decals are just as beautiful as the Busbridge decals. I'm sort of an aftermarket decals nut; I have a lot of them. Sky decals are pretty good ,too. So if you were hesitant about ordering a set of these, don't, you will not be disappointed.

Ciao Capitano

I have been having a bit of trouble finding aftermarket italian decals for 1/72 airplanes, particularly for bombers (SM 79 and 81). Do you have any suggestions as to where I could order them? I tried Tauro Model directly, but it seems they are out of stock for everything. And I haven't found 1/72 here in the Stormo page (but, as my wife says, I am a man and therefore I will never find anything alone)...

Thanks,

Cheers

Alex

You may also want to try Misterkit.com. They have a good selection of Italian subjects. Italiankits.it and Mondoridotto.it are also worth checking out. Hope these help!

Best wishes,
Brendan

Hi Capitano

I received my order today. The decals are excellent. I am sure I will be using them a lot in the future. As soon as the kits are ready I will try and post a few pics in here

Thanks once again
